We are looking for potential PhD and post-doc candidates in Liu’s group for a long term time. Our group focuses on maifold areas in quantum materials, like magnetic and antiferromagnetic materials, MC simulations, superconductivity and more details in “RESEARCH” page.
Successful applicants will receive Postgraduate Studentship of HK$18,030 per month. Outstanding applicants will be nominated to apply for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (http://www.rgc.edu.hk/hkphd). Successful awardee will receive stipend of HK$26,900 per month and travel allowance of HK$13,500 per year from the scheme and may additionally receive HK$40,000 of “Redbird Scholarship” in the first year (https://pg.ust.hk/prospective-students/scholarship-fees/generous-scholarships).
It is welcome for undergraduate students learning in group, who are interested in physical problems, and they should have relative background.
